James Gillard was born under a Granny Smith tree in WA where he heard some Beatles and Hollies and Everlys and Methodist Hymns.

Then he went to the beach and didn't want to go home, so he drove around Australia a lot.

Lived in Perth, lived in Sydney.
Lived under a rock in Melbourne.
Moved back to Sydney again to go to the beach.
Found K.B.
Depped with Train.

Co-founded Amigos.
Amigos began Flood.
In and out a few times.
Bass, drums once, guitars at present.
Hooray for Fender!

James Gillard has played with Mondo Rock, Broderick Smith's Big Combo and The Fargone Beauties.

Along the way James has played with most Australian country artists and with Kevin Bennett has an ongoing acoustic duo with an album, "Two of Everthing in a Carpark", and a follow-up "Two" completed.
